Levothyroxine is a drug is a synthetic form of thyroid hormone T4. Take this pill to replace what your thyroid is not able to produce enough.

They should have started in a small dose, probably 25 to 50 mcg. The physician should you set up for about six weeks after the start of hormone replacement for other laboratories .. These laboratories, and its symptoms, tell your doctor if you need a dose adjustment or not, you may need time to dosage for the saturation of the blood work hormones that your body needs to feel good.

(The reason to wait six weeks for the next series of laboratories and the same) after each adjustment to your body to adapt to changing hormone levels. They were just substitute a few weeks, the body is not fully recognizing the T4 hormone increases you take.

T4 is the storage of thyroid hormone. This is the first processor in the stomach, where stomach acid molecule of sodium eliminated grantsto the molecule of T4-ed during the manufacturing process. It is absorbed into the blood. Therefore, it is in the body where it distributes in the tissues stored. The storage level and the strengthening of the body that has determined the amount of hormones to the system each time you start taking T4 cells and converted into active thyroid hormone T3. T3 is what running for the body exploitable ".

Unfortunately .. we expect that to change this adjustment after each dose to ...

It is also important how you take your dose of synthetic T4.

You should be on an empty stomach to ensure adequate gastric acid available to remove the molecules of sodium to the absorption rate as uniform as possible, further suggests that the dosage at the same time each day for their area of maintaining consistency.

It is important not to other drugs, supplements, herbs to take, or when the dose of the thyroid. Above all things, that contain calcium and iron. Calcium and iron bind to thyroid hormone that makes unusing their bodies .. as if he had driven them all. You want to take calcium and vitamins at least 3 or four hours to keep. A good plan is to take supplements with breakfast, and they must always be taken with a meal. Some people find it uncomfortable, and select with dinner, instead of

There are also food goitrogen affected the level of thyroid hormone called, some, like the thyroid functions, some of which are on the efficiency of the body's ability to storage hormone that convert T4, a thyroid hormone, T3. Avoid foods that can help a lot! The two most common and harmful, are soybeans and HFCs (corn syrup, high fructose) to eliminate from your diet is a good thing to do.

As the dose gradually worked and the body will start more active hormone your symptoms should reduce / eliminate them.

I also have hypothyroidism and take levothyroxine. The more than 20 years for me. I never had any symptoms. My cholesterol was high and the doctor suggested that I have tested my thyroid. I did not. I do not know the symptoms are .... not like the thyroid gland. Better back to Dr. I'm surprised he did not return to see if the MED works. Took 2-3 years to find my correct dose. Hdnt When my cholesterol was high, I would have never known.
