Light oil(tranny fluid maybe?) instead of water based coolant in a old van? - hot oil trailers
I've received in 1993 a turnover-302 Ford V-8 in it. I think I enjoyed the time I bought a month ago. Basically, he ran well in the test unit to overheat at all. But it was only a glance to test drive in the city. He bought the car used and $ 1400 per couple times in the city and it was fine. I caught a trailer for him (the whole reason I bought this truck towing), which is directly under the brand of the Red Hot was less than 1 mile away. And shops, said the water pump is OK. I pulled the thermostat just in case. Whatever. OEM radiator is old, but not so bad, I think, no leaks. Cat Converter seems wrong to think with it being connected at least. Anyway, I plan to repair the cylinder head gasket or anyting important because the age of the car. This is planed for 1000, a head gasket, head to ensure that they do not distort competition. My question is that I am given the change to a light oil such as transmission fluid to at least the device without the coolant boiling at all allow. It is likely that the habit of the heat, because I have done (without options), 3-times on the trackHE has never been confiscated during the heating or pressure drop of oil. I know that sounds crazy! But if I have a liquid boiling more than usual (and out) I think we can hold it, hold together LL and offer a service until the winter.
